Copake Memorial ParkCopake Memorial Park

Copake Memorial Park on Mt. View Road, just down from the Town Hall, was dedicated in 1983 and has been serving the community for almost 20 years.

The Park provides a wonderful area for outdoor activities with its tennis court, little league baseball fields, basketball court, children's playground and in keeping with the times, an all new skateboard area.

It also includes a large pavilion, which can be reserved for family gatherings, and a memorial garden and path.  The path honors past and present members of the community with it's inscribed bricks.   To honor someone you love, inscribed bricks can be purchased with donations to the park fund.

The Park provides many activities for the community, their 6 week summer program for children 5 -12 years of age is a lifesaver for working parents and a wonderful experience for the children.  The Little League baseball fields are used five nights a week from April until October.

Through out the year there's always something going on at The Park.  At Easter time there's an Easter Egg Hunt, at Christmas time there's a bonfire and caroling, in June there's an Antique Car Show, in July a Tractor Pull and in August a Carnival.  It's truly a park for all seasons.
