The Comprehensive Planning Committee will be interviewing consultants on
November 11
and November 20. Anyone in the town who is interested is very welcome to attend, and members of other committees in Copake are especially urged to attend.

Our first interview on Tuesday November 11 is at 7:30 p.m. We will interview two candidates on Thursday November 20 and the first interview will be at 7:00 p.m.

We will open the floor to questions from the audience at the end of each interview.

LEGAL NOTICE
ANNUAL ELECTION OF THE CRARYVILLE FIRE DISTRICT

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Annual Election of the Craryville Fire District will take place on December 9, 2008 between the hours of 6:00p.m. and 9:00p.m. at the Craryville Fire House #1, located on Cty. Rt. 7, Hamlet of Craryville, Town of Copake, for the purpose of electing one (1) Commissioner for a five (5) year term commencing on January 1, 2009 and ending on December 31, 2013 and electing a Treasurer for a three (3) year term, commencing on January 1, 2009 and ending on December 31, 2011. All voters registered with the Columbia County Board of Elections on or before November 17, 2008 shall be eligible to vote.

Candidates for District Office shall have filed their names with the Secretary of the Craryville Fire District, to be placed on the ballot no later than November 19, 2008.

On December 9, 2008
 
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Annual Election of the
Hillsdale-Copake Fire District will take place on December 9, 2008 between
the hours of 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. at the Hillsdale Fire House located at
9387 Rt. 22 Hillsdale, NY 12529, for the purpose of electing one
Commissioner for a five (5) year term, commencing January 1, 2009 and ending
December 31, 2014. One Commissioner for a four(4) year term commencing on
January 1, 2009 and ending December 31, 2013. One Commissioner for a three
(3) year term commencing on January 1, 2009 and ending on December 31, 2012.
All voters registered with the Columbia County Board of Elections on or
before November 17, 2008 shall be eligible to vote.
 
Candidates for District Office shall have filed their names with the
Secretary of the Hillsdale- Copake Fire District, at the fire house at 9387
Rt. 22, Hillsdale, NY 12529, no later than twenty days before the election,
November 19, 2008.
